Football Rib Protectors

PRO VEST® Football Rib Protectors are offered in eight models that offer increasing levels of protection designed specifically with the Youth, High School, College and Pro player in mind and six multi-sizes that span the range of Youth, Teen and Adult sizes.

Key Features:

• Height adjustable - an important feature since not all people with the same rib circumference have the same torso length. Many shirt/vest style rib protectors are not height adjustable.
• Much more comfortable than shirt-, vest- or suspender-style rib protectors, which can ride up on & twist around the torso and dig into the shoulders.
• Quickly & easily attaches to any shoulder pads. Simply affix the two self-adhesive squares of high-bond hook material provided to the back of the shoulder pads and attach the rib protector straps. An extra set of self-adhesive squares provided. Replacement self-adhesive hook squares available.
• Much cooler wearing than either shirt/vest-style rib protectors or rib protectors made with heavy, non-breathable fabric. The breathable, moisture-wicking inner shell, air-hole perforated foam and mesh outer shell help keep the wearer cool and dry.

• Outfit 2-3 high school varsity/college players for what it would cost to outfit one player in some competitors' rib protectors.
• 360° of protection when sized with no front gap. Tapered hip cut.
• Removable plastic plates on some models allow protection to be customized.
• No metal parts. Some competitors' designs have as many as 32 metal parts!
• No metal studs protruding through to the underside of the rib protector to be driven into the torso when the rib protector is impacted. Some competitors' designs utilize metal studs to attach the plastic plates to the outside of the rib protector.
• No stitches through the shell/foam that compress the foam and decrease the impact protection. Some competitors' designs utilize stitches through the shell/foam to attach the plastic plates to the outside of the rib protector.
