Chest | Waist | Length | Sizing Chart
Your proper vest size is determined using two measurements: LENGTH, and the larger of the WAIST and CHEST measurements. Using a tape measure, follow the instructions provided below to obtain these measurements. After taking the measurements, please refer to the Sizing Guidelines and Chart included below.
RECOMMENDED VEST SIZES FOR YOUTH BASEBALL TEAMS: Nine/Ten-Year Old Teams: The small, 27"-33" Multi-Size vest should accommodate most, if not all, of the players in this age group. Eleven/Twelve-Year-Old Teams: Due to the range of sizes in this age group, two Multi-Sized vests, a medium, 31"-37", and a large, 35"-41", would be needed to accommodate most, if not all, of the players in this age group.

| LENGTH |
| If you are purchasing either an Full Length Safety Vest, have the person for whom the vest is being fitted bend at the waist to determine the point at which the body bends. Then, keeping a finger on that point, have the person straighten up and measure from that point up to the jugular notch, as shown in the accompanying diagram. Next, measure the distance from the jugular notch down to the navel. The jugular notch is the hard, bony material you feel at the base of your neck in the front. To locate it just run your finger down from your Adam's apple along the windpipe to the base of your neck. There is a slight indentation of soft skin just before you reach the jugular notch. If you are purchasing an Half Length Safety Vest, measure the distance from the jugular notch down to the breastbone. |

Full Length Safety Vest
The Full Length Safety Vest is available in the following five chest/waist sizes: X-Small, 24-28, Small, 27-33, Medium, 31-37, Large, 35-41 and X-Large, 37-45. Via the adjustable shoulder straps, the position of the external chest pad pocket on the torso can be adjusted upward or downward within a two-inch range.
To size your Full Length Safety Vest:
- Using the larger of your chest and waist measurements, locate your chest/waist measurement in Table 1 below and read across to find your recommended vest size or sizes. If you are between sizes, assess which size vest will meet your or your child's needs the best. The main advantages of a larger-size vest are that it will provide room for growth, cover more of the torso and may have a larger center-chest pad - check the length and width of the center-chest pad for each vest size in Table 3 below. The main advantage of a smaller-size vest is that it will be more tapered than the larger-size vest.
- Refer to Table 2 below which shows the length of the front and back of each Full Length Safety Vest. If you are between sizes, compare the front length of the vests from the table to the longer of the two length measurements taken above to determine which vest size is best for you or your child. Do not purchase a vest that is longer in the front than the longer of the two length measurements taken above.

Via the adjustable shoulder straps, the position of the external chest pad pocket on the torso can be adjusted upward or downward within a two-inch range.
To size your Half Length Safety Vest:
- Locate your chest measurement in Table 1 below and read across to find your recommended vest size or sizes. You do not need your waist measurement to determine what size Half Length Safety Vest you need since the front of the vest does not extend below the chest.
- Refer to Table 2 below which shows the length of the front and back of each Half Length Safety Vest. If you are between sizes, compare the front length of the vests from the table to the length measurement taken above (of the distance from the jugular notch to the breastbone) to determine which vest size is best for you or your child. Do not purchase a vest size with a front length shorter than the length measurement taken above (of the distance from the jugular notch to the breastbone).
